On September 19th, Flin Flon RCMP initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with five occupants while on Hapnot Street.

 

As officers approached the vehicle they recognized the male driver, who was known to them to be prohibited from driving. The 48-year-old was arrested without incident.

 

Two females and a male were located in the rear seat. The females, ages 26 and 47, along with a 36-year-old male who was in the front passenger seat, were all released without charge.

 

Officers learned the male passengers were threatened with a machete at a residence and then taken against their will by the driver and two females in the vehicle.

 

The suspects were headed to a bank, where the victims could withdraw money.

  

The victim was taken to hospital by EMS where he was treated and released for a minor injury. The other male victim was not injured.

 

A 48-year-old male from Sherridon, has been charged with multiple offenses including Kidnapping and forcible confinement. 

Two females ages 26, and 47, from Flin Flon, have been charged with multiple offenses including kidnapping.

 

All three have all been remanded.
