Substance Use and Addictions Awareness Week will be recognized in Flin Flon November the 15th to the 22nd with a lot of events for the entire family to enjoy.
Christa McIntire has more: " So our Substance Abuse and Awareness Week Committee is made up of organizations from Flin Flon and Creighton. It includes the Northern Health Region, the Flin Flon School Division, Kids First North, Flin Flon Friendship Centre, the Women's Resource Centre and the Community Alcohol Awareness Committee. We are really excited to share the lineup of free activities that we have organized during this week for the community. We really wanted to focus on events that were substance free events and events that focussed on wellness."
The events include Pouch Making, a Toddler Gym, Family Paint Night, Public Skate and Public Swim, and all these events are free to attend.
